October is "National Move To Bigger Digs Month for Tech Companies." OK, we just made that up but on the heels of Clarabridge doubling its space in Reston is EastBanc Technologies. The custom software development firm more than doubled its footprint by moving into the historic Georgetown Post Office at 1215 31 St NW this week and going from 5,600 SF to 11,776. The company will take three floors and an expanded basement and share the building with the post office. The company’s affiliate commercial and residential investment and development firm, just called EastBanc, spent the last year working on restorations with DC-based architecture and design firm CORE.

EastBanc Technologies CEO Slava Koltovich, right, with EastBanc president Anthony Lanier, says the 90-person company has grown revenue and head count 30% this year. With a new sales team on board, Slava says the company, which specializes on mobile apps, will grow even faster next year and continue to scoop up big clients like the DC government, NASDAQ, IMF, and The Washington Post.
