DOD Contractors to Get Tracked

DCMA

While Congress debated how to reel in wasteful IT spending, DOD awarded Accenture Federal Services a contract to automate the department's Earned Value Center. This is the part of the agency that reviews over $1 trillion worth of annual defense spending. Accenture will take eight months to design an analytics program that pulls info from various sources to determine a contractor's compliance with guidelines and standards. The reviews will be tracked by regional field offices, program managers, and DOD execs through a web portal. (We're hoping DOD hires Donald Trump to fire contractors that aren't in compliance.)
