The World Cup of Schmooze
Thanks to the 600 of you who (despite the real World Cup being on TV at the same time) came last night to the newly named District Center at 555 12th St for our Bisnow Super Schmooze, featuring tasty samplings from 30 of DC's top restaurants and mixologists and delectable morsels of business intelligence from the networkers.
Making the occasion official were the likes of Boston Properties' Ray Ritchey, Akridge's Brian Connolly, and developer Jim Abdo. Bob Peck, Brian Raher, and Doug Donatelli, nearby, somehow escaped our lens.
The crew from Cushman & Wakefield is marketing both office and retail space at District Center. Here's retail gurus Caitlin Slowinski and Elizabeth Miller with office expert Michael Katcher.
EagleBank’s Carrie Johnson, Gaithersburg planning director (and former JBG'er) John Schlichting, and Cooper Carry’s David Kitchen and Amanda D’Luhy.
HDR Engineering's James D. Brown and Mosaic Urban's Calvin Gladney.
Teel Construction's Joe Ellingsworth and OPX's Steve Polo are doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing: trading business cards (and trying not to spill wine on each other in the process).
