Penzance Signs First Tenant to Vacant Clarendon Office Building

Placeholder

Penzance finally has its first office tenant at its shiny building at 3001 Washington Blvd. The developer signed HDR, an architecture and engineering firm, to lease 30k SF in the 100k SF Clarendon office building, which has sat vacant since it opened last year. 3001 is attached to 3003 Washington Blvd, Penzance's 200k SF trophy building that signed CNA Corp as an anchor tenant two years ago, the Washington Business Journal reports. 3001 sits at the corner of Washington and North Garfield Street, just a couple of blocks from Clarendon's active main drag. However, daytime pedestrian activity is slim-to-none, despite solid ground-floor retail. Penzance starting to fill its two new buildings can only help. [WBJ]
