Brookfield Residential Buys Luxury Builder ALBI Homes

Brookfield Residential Properties has acquired Calgary-based luxury developer ALBI Homes. Here are Brookfield Residential (Alberta) COO Trent Edwards and Brookfield Residential Properties CEO Alan Norris with ALBI president Allan Klassen and co-chair Tom Mauro. They made the announcement last week during an event at Riverstone of Cranston, one of 61 communities Brookfield has built in Calgary over 57 years. Allan noted that amid “challenging economic times,” Brookfield's acquisition of his firm, builder of 3,300 homes in 35 communities since its 1982 launch, “reaffirms Alberta is a place to do business."
