Ivanhoé Cambridge has acquired 3 Minster Court, a 275k SF neo-gothic office building in the heart of the City of London. The structure, part of the Minster Court complex, was completed in the early 1990s. Fun fact: In its forecourt stand three bronze horse sculptures nicknamed Dollar, Yen and Sterling. Fun fact #2: The building, currently leased to London Underwriting Centre, appeared in Disney’s 1996 live-action 101 Dalmatians as the exterior of Cruella De Vil’s fashion house, “House of DeVil.” Ivanhoé’s Europe EVP Meka Brunel said the deal, worth over $330M, meets the company's objective to build a “critical mass of high-quality assets” in the British capital. The plan is to “add value to the property over time.”
