On Nov. 5, 1965, Thomas Harkins signed the articles of incorporation for his new general contracting firm, starting one of the most successful construction management companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. Fifty years later, the employee-owners of Harkins Builders are looking back with gratitude and appreciation for Thomas. With revenues approaching record highs, its anniversary year will be one of the most successful ever, and with a diverse portfolio of projects in their Baltimore, DC and Pennsylvania pipelines, their next 50 years is getting off to a great start.
