Netflix has been streaming shows online for almost a decade, but its reputation as a content studio has taken off largely within the last five years, as Netflix Original Series like Narcos, The Crown and BoJack Horseman have reached critical acclaim and millions of hungry viewers.

Hollywood is home to Netflix,” Kemp said. “Given our rapid growth in the market, I wanted to have an opportunity to participate in the conversation.”

Kemp will be speaking at Bisnow’s Future Of LA Office event, where she will discuss Netflix’s move, as well as all the challenges that go into running the hottest production studio in Hollywood.

Kemp is concerned just as much with national and global trends in employment and vacancy as she is with making sure Netflix’s employees have enough parking in Hollywood’s famously crowded streets.
