Gwinnett Place CBD Gets 'ACTivated'

The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District is beginning the implementation of the ACTivate Gwinnett Place initiative. Unveiled in July, the ACTivate Gwinnett Place master plan charts a path for redevelopment of Gwinnett’s central business district. The plan proposes several bold infrastructure investments, including a grand promenade trail network, connectivity to McDaniel Farm Park, roadway improvements, pedestrian enhancements and stormwater management solutions.

• TSW will conduct a scoping study for enhancing connectivity to McDaniel Farm Park from the Gwinnett Place area.

• Moreland Altobelli Associates will provide professional design services for streetscape enhancements along portions of Satellite Boulevard/Pleasant Hill Road.

• AECOM was selected to complete a feasibility and scoping study for potential intersection improvements at Pleasant Hill Road/ Satellite Boulevard.

• Pond & Co will provide professional design services for improvements along Gwinnett Place Drive and Mall Boulevard.
