Biotech Company Grabs 180K SF At Menlo Park Labs
Pacific Biosciences of California's new headquarters at Menlo Park Labs

Pacific Biosciences of California has moved into a 180K SF headquarters at Tarlton Properties’ Menlo Park Labs. The biotech company has leased 1305 O’Brien Drive through 2027. The company originally started with 10K SF.

The new structure, which underwent a massive transformation after its time as an OfficeMax distribution facility, features a two-story lobby, an exterior amenities space, extensive research labs, manufacturing floor space and a conference center. It shares various amenities with the 50-acre Menlo Park Labs, which offers a commuter shuttle, bike sharing, EV car chargers, a restaurant, a fitness center and tennis and volleyball courts.

The opening of PacBio's new building comes on the heels of Refuge Biotechnologies and AccuraGen moving into Menlo Park Labs three months ago. More than 60 biotech, medical device and life science companies occupy the campus.
