S.F. Capital Markets Extravaganza!

S.F.'s real estate market is sizzling and has become one of the hottest cities in which to invest. Come hear about the latest trends in real estate finance and the recent explosion of foreign investors into the market at Bisnow's S.F. Capital Markets Extravaganza, Sept. 10 at the snazzy Fairmont Hotel starting at 7:30am.

Among our panelists will be TMG Partners CIO Matt Field, who will likely tell us the true story of how a Chinese property developer swooped in to buy the high-profile First and Mission development site that will house the city's second-tallest office tower. (Beijing-based Oceanwide Holdings agreed to purchase the site for a whopping $296M from TMG and capital partner Northwood Investors LLC.)

Another panelist will be Veritas Investments CEO Yat-Pang Au, whose growing firm moved into the top two floors of 600 Cal this year. Veritas is one of the largest owners and operators of local multifamily mixed-use properties. A few months back the firm scooped up downtown's 6 Mint Plaza (the 25-unit apartment complex called Station House) for $21.5M from Virtu Investments.

And the capital markets game is so strong that NY-based Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group opened an office in S.F. this year. We’ll hear from Ackman Ziff principal Patrick Hanlon, whose 90-year-old capital advisory group creates greater leverage in the marketplace by presenting clients with new sources of capital. (Here's Patrick before he spoke at Bisnow's first-ever Multifamily Summit in 2010.) Hear from Patrick and many more at Bisnow's S.F. Capital Markets Extravaganza event, Sept. 10 at the Fairmont Hotel starting at 7:30am. Sign up here.
