TRI/CORFAC Closes Complicated SoMa Deal

TRI Commercial/CORFAC International has announced the completion of a trio of deals associated with a single property in SoMa.

Senior adviser Jason James marketed and sold a 34.4k SF industrial building at 2650 18th St on behalf of 2650 18th Street LLC to Chai LP for $14.2M. James also managed to lease the entire building while it was in escro—to Zesty, a catering company that is backed by Silicon Valley investors and venture funds. To top it all off, James assisted Weston Wear in its relocation efforts and the company's now occupying nearly 12k SF at 389 Oyster Point.

James says the property was offered for sale unpriced and attracted a ton of interest over the course of the listing. “The active sale environment and the demand for such limited blocks of space is very indicative of what is going on with the market—there’s more demand than available space,” he says.
