5 Major Projects In Orange County

There is a slew of new projects underway in Orange County. Many of them will be discussed at Bisnow's Orange County Major Projects Forum event Sept. 22 at the Irvine Marriott.

Here are a few.

Residences at Pacific City

The Residences at Pacific City is a big project being built on a 20-acre property at 21034 Pacific Coast Hwy in Huntington Beach.

The complex is being designed by MVE + Partners and developed by UDR.

It will have 516 units, retail and a hotel.

Museum House

Related California has its proposed Museum House development in Newport Beach’s Fashion Island.

It would consist of a 100-unit luxury condo tower at the site of the Orange County Museum of Art.

Famed architect Robert A.M. Stern is designing the project, which would be his first residential project in Orange County.

The development's design includes devoting more than 60% of the property to outdoor open space.

Disney Hotel

A 700-room hotel is being built by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts at 1401 Disneyland Drive.

It will have a signature rooftop restaurant and terrace, affording views of the Star Wars-themed section under construction at Disneyland.

1700 South Harbor

The Wincome Group is building a 580-room hotel at 1700 South Harbor.

The hotel will have two restaurants, a rooftop bar and 50k SF of meeting space.

Crestavilla

Bernards is building a $100M senior housing communityCrestavilla, at 30111 Niguel Road in Laguna Niguel.

It is being designed by Santa Ana's William Hezmalhalch Architects.

The 211,387 SF Crestavilla is on an 11-acre site.
