As if the Disneyland Resort didn’t already have enough to attract the masses, now a new four-star hotel at 1401 Disneyland Dr may be on the way.
Disneyland officials filed plans last week to build the resort, which would be the fourth Disney-themed hotel on the property.
The hotel would have 700 rooms, two swimming pools and an upscale rooftop restaurant, according to the Orange County Register.
It would be designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and would be the first hotel built there in almost two decades.
It would also take advantage of Anaheim’s tax incentives to build luxury hotels.
Construction on the hotel would begin in 2018. It could open in 2021. [OCR]
