A new co-working space called The Brickyard is set to open in Ashburn next week, with plans to expand to more locations already in the works.
The Brickyard comes to us from Paul Singh, founder of Disruption Corp and longtime Silicon Valley investor, DC Inno reports. It’s at 44927 George Washington Blvd, No. 265, just across from GWU’s Science and Technology campus.
The company aims to fill a need for a quality work environment for tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs in secondary tech markets just outside of major city centers. Singh is financing the venture along with Ann Orem, a director with Clarke-Hook Real Estate.
Ashburn represents the type of market Singh and Oren hope to serve via The Brickyard, as the town is home to a wealth of tech-savvy professionals who lack a suitable co-working space to pursue new projects and ventures. [DCI]
