Also yesterday, we stopped by the National Press Club for Turner Construction's market forecast breakfast, where we snapped the event's moderator, Board of Trade CEO Jim Dinegar. Jim reports that “hearing from members of the board, the outlook is better than it feels.” (We had him swear on the National Press Club podium so you know he’s telling the truth.)
We also caught up with Michael Tabassi of Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson Associates and the Eller Group's Wade Eller. Wade was excited to tell us that the company just broke ground on a new off-campus student housing project at UC-Berkeley, after recently completing a similar project at U of Michigan. Wade says this makes five ground-up student housing projects for Eller Group in the past six years.
