All eyes were on Arlington Thursday for Bisnow’s Amazon HQ2-Apalooza event.

More than 1,000 people were in attendance to hear Amazon Head of Worldwide Economic Development Holly Sullivan, JBG Smith CEO Matt Kelly, Cushman & Wakefield Executive Vice Chairman Bill Collins and other distinguished panelists discuss how the biggest CRE whale was wooed to come ashore at National Landing.

Financial incentives, a welcoming community and furry friends all played a part in Northern Virginia landing HQ2, and panelists weren't shy to discuss where Arlington excelled and Long Island City failed.
