JDRF Games This Thursday!

One of DC real estate's most anticipated events arrives this Thursday, as the annual JDRF Real Estate Games will rock American University. This year marks the 25th anniversary, and the event's co-chairs, Savills Studley's Angelea Busby and Boston Properties' Katie Yanushonis, tell us 60 volunteers have been helping organize the Games, which welcomes 1,700 real estate-ers. Angelea says new twists this year will be jousting as well as a Big Trike Derby, featuring oversized tricycles with horse heads. But it's all for a good cause, and the event has raised big funds for juvenile diabetes over the years—over $5M since the event's inception. Rain or shine, the games are on, the pair tells us.
