Donohoe Hires Drew Genova To Run Real Estate Services Division

Donohoe Real Estate Services President Drew Genova

One of D.C.'s oldest real estate companies has hired a new head of its services and management divisions.

Donohoe named Drew Genova, who spent the past two years as chief asset services officer at Madison Marquette, as president of Donohoe Real Estate Services, the company announced Sunday. Genova spent three decades at Trammell Crow, then at CBRE after it acquired the Texas-based real estate giant.

Genova will take the reins of the division that oversees Donohoe's brokerage, property management, sales and real estate consulting businesses. Bethesda-based Donohoe, which also has development, construction and hospitality divisions, was founded in 1884 and is partly led by the fourth and fifth generations of Donohoes.

“We couldn’t be happier with Drew joining our family and we are confident that he will strengthen internal teams, build our portfolio, and help our clients and partners capture opportunities ahead,” Donohoe President and CEO Chris Bruch said in a statement.

The real estate services division was launched 31 years ago, according to Donohoe's website. It manages a portfolio that spans more than 6M SF and represents other property owners and tenants in lease negotiations.

Genova helped manage a 400M SF portfolio at CBRE as executive managing director of asset services and co-leader of strategic accounts before he departed for Madison Marquette. He was a principal at Trammell Crow and helped formed the company's Mid-Atlantic brokerage division, according to his LinkedIn page.
