Canderel Wins Bentall Centre Management Contracts

Weeks after Ottawa green-lighted Anbang Insurance Group’s acquisition of a majority stake in Bentall Centre, Canderel Group of Cos announced it has a deal to act as both property and leasing manager for the 1.5M SF four-tower office complex, whose tenants include Bank of Montreal, Blakes law firm, CIBC and Deloitte (effective July 18). Canderel’s Vancouver-based Western Canada VP Bryce Margetts says his firm’s “national bench strength” in construction, redevelopment, leasing and property management will enable it to “ensure and enhance” Bentall Centre’s unique stature in the Vancouver marketplace.
