The developer of The Private Residences at the Hotel Georgia says he intends for the $18M, 6,830 SF penthouse to be sold to a local buyer who will remain in the city. “I want someone fun, someone who will connect with the rest of residents,” Bruce Langereis told the Vancouver Sun. “Not someone who treats this place like some hidden chamber and then leaves.” He earlier gave Business in Vancouver his definition of local: “Someone who has lived in Vancouver for at least five years and has a commitment to making this city his or her home.” [VS]
