Since winning in the Industrial Lease category at the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Awards of Excellence, Beedie Development Group industrial president Todd Yuen says the reaction he has been receiving shows just how tight the commercial estate community in Vancouver really is. “While we are all competitors in some respects, there is a ton of mutual respect and in many cases, close friendships,” Todd tells Bisnow. The Damco industrial lease deal in New Westminster was quarterbacked by Beedie after Damco came to them needing a new site.
