Innovative Designs On Display At Architect@Work

Personalized building exteriors, heated tile floors and office walls made of water and greenery are among the innovative designs and concepts being unveiled at this week’s Architect@Work event.

The two-day event opened Wednesday at Toronto’s Enercare Centre, marking its first foray into North America. Architect@Work draws on the works of 1,000 architects and interior designers from North America and Europe, featuring new-to-market products and cutting-edge technology for both the home and the workplace.

Schluter Systems' electronic floor warming system

Among the innovations featured this year are customizable exteriors from Graphic Concrete for the design of building façades, a healthy Danish workspace concept employing water and plant walls and the only electric bathroom floor warming system designed for tile.
