How Morguard Stays Safe

Morguard was just named Canada’s Safest Employer (Retail and Services category) by Thomson Reuters for the second year in a row, so we asked retail property management VP Ed Lincz for tips on keeping employees from tipping over. Ed notes the company’s online Path to Learning portal has been a big help with health and safety education, providing Morguard’s employees nationwide with the same training materials and testing constantly. “People can grasp it and connect it to what they do on a daily basis,” he tells us. The safety award was for its Canadian commercial portfolio of 300 shopping centres, office towers and industrial properties.
