Morguard
Morguard Investments is launching a $22M transformation of Edmonton's Scotia Place, replacing the complex's 13,000 glass panels. Silver reflective glass will be added to the tallest tower's leading edge, with blue-glass panels on other sides. Three entrances also will be revamped. Morguard GM Glen Scheuerman says sustainability is integral to the modernization of the 567k SF complex, which has undergone other upgrades in recent years, including new operating systems and elevators and high-efficiency lighting. Glass replacement begins next month.
