Crown Realty Acquires Markham Office Portfolio

Crown Realty Partners has landed a 465k SF office building portfolio comprising 575, 600 and 675 Cochrane Dr in Markham. The firm’s investments partner, Emily Hanna, says the assets fit well with its focus on “vibrant, transit-oriented communities.” Located at the southeast intersection of Highway 404 and Highway 7 in central Markham, the portfolio includes two office buildings on 15 acres of land. 675 Cochrane (aka Trillium Executive Centre), seen above, is the only AAA office complex in the city, according to Crown, with 365k SF across three towers connected by an atrium.

600 Cochrane Dr, a 100k SF Class-A office building, is shown here. 575 Cochrane Drive is a 3.4-acre commercially zoned parcel of land fronting Highway 404. The office campus is serviced by an underground parking facility at 675 Cochrane, with 954 parking stalls and hybrid car charging stations. The acquisitions bring Crown’s assets under management across the Greater Toronto Area to more than $1B.
