1211 Avenue Of The Americas — Hq For Twenty-First Century Fox And News Corp.

Ivanhoé Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties have completed separate lease extensions with 21st Century Fox and News Corp to retain their head offices at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. The 777k SF deal with 21st Century Fox is for a 649k SF extension and 128k SF expansion into three upper floors of the building, for the consolidation of its Midtown employees. News Corp's 444k SF lease deal will be effective December 2020. The transactions represent a “clear vote of confidence in 1211 and Midtown Manhattan,” Ivanhoé SVP Jonathan Pearce said.
