He sold the King Blue site to Greenland Group, but developer Steve Gupta still has plenty on his slate. His firm, Easton’s Group of Hotels, part of the Gupta Group, on Friday marked the grand opening of a project in Markham that combines a 187-room Courtyard Marriott and a 112-room TownePlace Suites by Marriott in the same building at Woodbine and Steeles avenues—a former Holiday Inn. Steve's also developing Dundas Square Gardens at Dundas and Jarvis streets, and last year acquired 4050 Yonge St and plans a 500k SF mixed-use development with a four-star hotel, offices and retail.
