Walmart has obtained a demolition permit for a site in Midtown Miami where the retail behemoth plans a new store. The project, which would be a 203k SF superstore, has been resisted by neighborhood activists and in court.
The next step will be for the company to apply for a phased construction permit. When that comes through, the foundation for the store will be laid. [Curbed]
