First Walmart for Miami

Walmart has famously had a tough time cracking large-city markets. New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Boston, for instance, have none of the big-box behemoths, or even smaller versions. Miami used to be in that category, but as of yesterday it has a Walmart, at 6991 SW Eighth St in Flagami. The new store is one of the retailer’s smaller versions, about 40K SF, which is a quarter the size of a typical rural or suburban Supercenter.
