Current projects: Mattoni Group recently acquired over 11k SF of retail space, purchasing all commercial units on the ground floor in the new development 1010 Brickell in the Financial District, with plans to lease the spaces to major retailers. The company and partners Estate Investments Group and Fortune Capital Partners broke ground in November on the 194-unit Gables Prado.

Favorite food: Italian cuisine. There’s nothing better than indulging in a saucy and savory bowl of spaghetti.

Favorite song (or band): Listening to a lot of Jason Mraz lately. His beach beats always inspire a positive mood.

Favorite vacation: Anywhere in the world if you’re with a group of great friends or family, but my favorite kind of vacation is island-hopping on a boat with close friends and family.

Favorite book: Michael Eisner’s Working Together: Why Great Partnerships Succeed. I’m a true believer in the power of teamwork.

First job: As a senior in college, co-founder of TheMusic.com in L.A.

Little-known fact: My father has Parkinson's, and I was recently appointed as a board member to the National Parkinson Foundation. It's my mission to fight this disease and help those who have been affected.
