5 Sexiest New South Florida Residential Developments

We've picked five sexy South Florida residential developments. Our criteria? They're posh. They reach for the sky. They enable the glittery South Florida lifestyle known the world over. They have that certain something.

Developer: Terra Group

Architect: Bjark Ingels

Progress: Sold out. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015.

X Factor: “At Grove at Grand Bay in Coconut Grove, we reduced the development's density—it's zoned for 440 units—to create added value and better integrate the project within the Grove's village-like atmosphere,” says Terra Group president David Martin, who will be speaking at Bisnow's South Florida State of the Market on Sept. 22.

Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach

Address: 4218 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami Beach

Size: The Residences offers 15 single-family villas and 111 condos.

Progress: More than 50% sold. Scheduled to be completed in 2016.

X Factor: The first residential development to incorporate an art studio as an amenity. According to Lionheart Capital founding partner Ricardo Dunin, “Art is like therapy. Everyone needs an outlet.” We're having a case study panel at our event about this project, including Ricardo, ADD Inc. senior principal Jon Cardello and Plaza Construction president Brad Meltzer.

Address: 16901 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach

Architect: Herzog & De Meuron

Miami WorldCenter (Paramount Miami Worldcenter)

Address: 950 NE 2nd Ave
