Cali Investor Planting ExtraSpace Flags All Over FL

A California self-storage investor is about to reflag a big swath of Florida facilities under the ExtraSpace banner.

Strategic Storage Trust II has just picked up a portfolio of nearly 10k units of self storage in Florida, including a 121,500 SF facility in Delray off Linton Boulevard; an 870-unit property in Pompano Beach at 2320 NE 5th Ave; a 910-unit property at 10325 W Broward Blvd in Plantation; an 800-unit property in Naples at 7755 Preserve Lane; and a 1,030-unit storage facility at 10451 NW 33rd St in Doral.

All told, SSTII purchased nearly 1M SF in self-storage, and will reflag the properties under ExtraSpace's management. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
