SLU Site Mapped for Office Development

Walton Street Capital of Chicago, along with locally based Talon Private Capital, acquired two-thirds of an acre in South Lake Union for more than $10M, the Puget Sound Business Journal reports. The site is near the future home of the Allen Institute for Brain Science and is currently occupied by Buca di Beppo and Ducati motorcycle. The buyers are planning a major office development to take advantage of the tight office market in South Lake Union — less than 1.5% vacancy for Class-A space.
