National law firm Polsinelli recently opened an office in Seattle’s central business district at 1000 Second Ave. The attorneys will focus on technology, government investigations and mid-market corporate practices. The firm will initially employ eight attorneys. It expects to add more attorneys soon.

“We see Seattle as an opportunity to serve existing clients and to expand in our key practice areas including health care, technology and real estate,” Polsinelli CEO and Chairman Russ Welch said in an email. “We serve clients from coast to coast and having a meaningful presence in the Northwest makes us a better firm.”

The Seattle attorneys include Senior Partner Steve Kenyon and James Fredman III, Jane Pearson, Jessica Andrade, Stephen Fisher, Kirsten Koester, Robert Mahler and Adrienne McKelvey. These attorneys formerly worked for Foster Pepper law firm.
