Amazon Takes Even More Space In Seattle

Another day, another major Amazon lease (or so it seems). Amazon is leasing a new 12-story South Lake Union office building, the 286k SF Urban Union, which Schnitzer West will complete next month. So far that's the largest office lease of the year, the Puget Sound Business Journal reports.

Last year, the retail behemoth leased all 817k SF of the Troy Block in SLU. Colliers International data puts the entirety of Amazon leasing in Seattle at 8.3M SF, not counting the 1.1M SF high-rise the company will someday occupy at Westlake and Lenora. [PSBJ]
