Crescent Heights Inspiration Living has modified its plans for the tallest tower in Seattle, which will come in at 100 stories (rather than 102) on Fourth Avenue between Cherry and Columbia streets.
There will be 1,110 residential units on the property's upper floors, and 85k SF of office space instead of 150k SF. The hotel at the base of the mixed-use tower will offer 100 rooms instead of 200, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The initial height had been deemed a presumed hazard by the FAA. Seattle's tallest existing building is Columbia Center.
The company says it would like to start construction next year; the city will review the plans March 1. Crescent tapped LMN Architects of Seattle to design the tower. [PSBJ]
