The Stars Are Coming Out

Given the CRE exec's love of networking, we're surprised to discover that many brokers and developers don't flock to Facebook. The reason is security, DCI Engineers's director of business development Don Tuttle explained to us recently. We failed to find Don's Facebook page, but he did turn us on to the Washington state chapter of NAIOP, which is on Facebook. NAIOP is having its Night of the Stars Nov. 4 at the Hyatt Regency of Bellevue. NOS is the Oscars of CRE, Don tells us, judged by an "academy" of top-flight pros (including Don, who judged one year). Judges take a day and go out to do field research at sites up for awards. More on that in upcoming issue.
