| Walmart is working to fill in its gaps in coverage on the Eastside— the mega-retailer plans to open two new stores in Bellevue later this year, both dark store takeovers of existing structures where well-known names once leased space. The first, a 76k SF store in Factoria Mall, was formerly a Mervyn's. The other store is planned for 148th Ave SE in the Kelsey Creek Shopping Mall and would take the place of a Kmart. |
