KTGY Receives Unanimous Approval For Morgan Hill Project

KTGY Architecture + Planning’s latest 10k SF mixed-use project in Morgan Hill just received unanimous approval from the city’s planning commission. The project, dubbed The Edes Building, is being developed by Ladera Grill owner and local restaurateur Dan McCranie.

The mixed-use development at 17395 Monterey Road in downtown Morgan Hill will offer a dining destination for visitors and aims to connect fine art, fine dining and fine wine. Dan will own and operate the building. He worked with the Morgan Hill Historical Society to ensure signage (a re-creation of a 100-year-old sign) pays homage to the Edes Brothers’ hardware store that occupied the site in 1910.

The Edes Building features an upscale art gallery and café/wine bar on the first floor. A grand staircase will lead people to a gallery space on the second floor and a five-star restaurant with a rooftop lounge on the third floor.

KTGY also is working on a four-story contemporary-style boutique hotel next to Granada Theater at Monterey and East 1st streets.
