Choice Hotels is bringing its upscale hotel brand into San Jose. The hotelier just signed an agreement with franchise partner Villa Developers & Investments to develop a Cambria hotel & suites at 2850 Stevens Creek Road. The 11-story, 173-room hotel is expected to open in 2018. Above is the lobby of a Cambria in New York.

The 23,408 SF hotel will offer 1,800 SF of meeting space, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a rooftop restaurant and lounge, similar to the above in Washington, DC. The property will feature the contemporary bistro Social Circle, with a menu created by Chef Michael DeMaria, and a barista bar.

The hotel will be less than five miles away from the San Jose International Airport, downtown San Jose, Cupertino and Santa Clara and will be across the street from the Westfield Valley Fair Mall.
Cambria hotels typically offer chic décor, flexible spaces for meeting or socializing, high-end standard rooms (such as the above room in Chicago) and free WiFi.
Choice Hotels also is expanding the Cambria brand in Chicago with two new hotels.
