The newly restored New Mission Theater is slated to reopen this December, just in time for the holiday blockbuster Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Alamo Drafthouse spent four years of planning and $10M in renovations to bring the landmark theater back to life, 7x7 reports. It will feature five screens equipped with the latest high-tech projectors from Sony and a strictly enforced no talking and no texting policy. Other features include full dinner and cocktail service, lobby bicycle parking and assigned seating.
Movie buffs in the area have a lot to look forward to, perhaps none more so than the highly anticipated release of the latest Star Wars movie. Alamo has several promotions to coincide with its Dec. 17 opening, several of which are geared towards fans of the iconic space franchise. [7x7]
