Mission/Bernal Heights Top List of Noisiest Neighborhoods in San Francisco

Noise travels and apparently a little too much in some of San Francisco’s most densely populated neighborhoods.

Data compiled by real estate listing website Trulia pinpoints the noisiest ZIP codes as indicated by noise complaints to local police departments. The densely populated ZIP of 94110, which encompasses The Mission and Bernal Heights, takes down top honors with the most noise complaints over the past five years. The neighborhoods of Tenderloin and Hayes Valley in ZIP code 94102 were not too far behind to earn second place.

Looking for a little peace and quiet? Sparsely populated ZIP code 94129, home to The Presidio, unsurprisingly registered the fewest complaints[SFBT]
