San Francisco’s under-construction Chase Center seems to already be paying off. The NCAA said Tuesday the Pac-12 will host the West Regional at the Warrior’s new arena March 24-26, 2022, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. It has been 83 years since San Francisco hosted a regional NCAA men’s basketball final.

The 18,000-seat arena broke ground in January and is expected to deliver by the 2019-2020 NBA season. The West Regional was hosted at the SAP Center in San Jose in 2017. Daly City’s Cow Palace and Oakland’s Oracle Arena have hosted it in previous years.
