TMG Partners Actively Leasing 100k SF Of Office Space In Oakland

TMG Partners unveiled 100k SF of available office space at 1330 Broadway in Oakland at a broker open house held last week, above. The firm showcased the 18-story, 313k SF building originally purchased last November.

Renovations will include a new main lobby and entrance, new common area finishes, and major elevator and building systems modernization. Other upgrades will include enhanced bike parking and commuter showers. Renovations will be completed during first quarter 2017. Above: the finished renovations on the third floor.

TMG Partners hopes the building will attract new tenants into Downtown Oakland. The building is close to BART and Oakland City Center. Above is a view of downtown from the building.

“Oakland has not only become a hot market for office space and a variety of employment, but it is a diverse and authentic city with a great mix of culture, history, dining and entertainment," TMG Partners chairman and CEO Michael Covarrubias tells us. "We've sought to reflect that in the design we brought to our renovations of 1330 Broadway and The Breuner Building at 2201 Broadway.”

Michael adds TMG has been active in the East Bay for decades, and “it's exciting to see this evolution—particularly in the influx of a younger workforce and residents.”

Cushman & Wakefield SVP John Dolby and associate VP Dane Hooks repped both parties in the earlier transaction of the building.
