Rooftop Rumors at 100 Cal

Pembroke just made its first move in S.F., scooping up 100 Cal in one of the year's most exciting buys. As for how it plans to recruit more tech tenants inside, we hear a sizable rooftop is in the works. We asked SVP David Lucey about the plan, but it's a bit premature. "We are still in the early stages of assessing what it could potentially involve so we do not have any details at this point," says a spokesman. (David's is even standing on what looks like a roof, so we know he's a fan.) One thing's for sure: The city is buzzing when it comes to the outdoor amenity, and we'll have the latest word on a few spaces later this week.
