Oakland's Hive Is All Full

The Hive in Oakland's Uptown district just hit its 100k SF capacity, the San Francisco Business Times reports. Dallas-based Balfour Beatty just moved into the last unopened office, a 14k SF space for its new NorCal HQ. The $50M mixed-use from Signature Development at 2335 Broadway has half of its space built out as office and half as retail. Balfour outgrew its previous 9k SF at 5858 Horton in Emeryville. Around 40 full-time employees will work at the Hive. Impact Hub Oakland is also a Hive tenant. [SFBT]
