Netflix HQ On The Market

The new Los Gatos house that built cult classics like Orange is the New Black and House of Cards is making headlines of its own, having just hit the market, reports The Registry. Owners Menlo Park-based Sand Hill Property Company and The Carlyle Group tapped the Menlo Park and San Francisco offices of JLL to sell it, listed by Erik Doyle, Will Connors, Michael Seifer and Rob Hielscher. Since 2010, less than ten buildings over 100k SF in the Bay Area have been sold within three years of being constructed, notes the paper. Erik expects foreign capital sources to be interested in the new two-building campus, where Netflix has 10-year triple-net lease. The lease is projected to start in the second or third quarter of this year and run to 2025. [The Registry]
