Meridian Scoops Another East Bay Building

Meridian just scooped up a 19k SF medical office building in Oakland. This third buy brings its total to over $18M in 2015. The building at 380 W MacArthur Blvd was bought from BIC Oakland LLC in an off-market transaction. It's their second speculative purchase this year, after the acquisition of a property in Berkeley in March. Built in 1977, the two-story building sits on 1.07 acres and was completely vacant at the time of the sale. The building is one block from Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center and just four blocks from Sutter Health’s Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.
