Meet Cushman's Newest Import

Say hi to Robert Sammons, Cushman's new NorCal research director. He came to us from the Big Apple and we decided to meet at one of S.F.'s most iconic spots, with Blue Bottle in hand. He looks at the latest employment data for the Bay Area and says "it all sounds scary good" (just in time for Halloween). Office jobs (professional and business services, information, and financial activities) have expanded by 19,000 positions over the past year in the S.F. metro. Even at 150 SF/employee, that would be 2.85M SF of positive net absorption, he says. Interestingly enough, over that same time period, the area had net positive absorption of 3M SF. Coming from NY, he's a certified foodie; one of his latest go-to spots is Pabu. He's ready to battle the line at Mama Ji’s in his new Castro ‘hood.
